If you're looking for a way to keep the kids busy these school holidays, we've got just the ticket. Join us at the Mandurah Library for a free event where the only limit is your creativity (and maybe how many beads you can roll before snack time). We're diving into the world of paper bead jewellery, which means we'll be turning patterned paper into what can only be described as works of art, or at least something you can brag about to your family and friends.

The process is simpler than a magician's trick: cut out some shapes, roll them on a skewer, glue 'em up, and voilà—your very own paper bead. Toss in some plastic or wooden beads to jazz things up, and you've got a unique bracelet or necklace. It's like having a mini fashion show without all the fuss. Ages 5 to 12 are welcome, so don't worry, it's okay if the kids make a mess; it just adds character. Just remember to book ahead, because, as we all know, good things come to those who plan.
