Looking for a way to keep the kiddos busy during the school holidays? Well, how about making a flying dragon that doesn't breathe fire but is definitely a hot topic of conversation? At our local libraries, we've got a lineup of FREE activities that will have your little ones flexing their creative muscles and crafting some impressive stuff.

In this workshop, the kids will get to decorate their very own flying dragon using card, string, elastic, and beads. Once their masterpieces are complete, we'll delve into the science-y bits, like how tension on elastic can magically make their dragons appear to soar through the air. Sounds like a recipe for fun, right? Perfect for ages 5 to 12, and don't forget, it's all free, but make sure to book a spot because we can't have just anyone wandering in, can we?

So mark your calendars for Thursday, 24 April 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mandurah Library. It's going to be a flight of fancy not to be missed.
