Get ready for some artistic fun with Adventures in Art, a workshop series designed for kids aged 5 to 15 who have dreams of becoming the next Picasso or perhaps just want to create some colourful chaos. Local legends Sarah Petrich and Candice Sawyer will be your guides through this creative journey, offering workshops that are equal parts fun and a sneaky way to boost those vital skills. Who knew learning could be this entertaining?

In Workshop 4, we're diving into the wild world of Picasso. Forget about boring old face painting; you'll be channeling your inner artist and crafting a face masterpiece that would make even Pablo proud. Just bring your imagination and a willingness to get a bit messy—after all, true art rarely comes without a splash of paint and a few giggles. Costs a mere $7 to join the fun, but don't dilly-dally—payment is needed within three days of booking your spot on Eventbrite, and unfortunately, no refunds, so think of it as a commitment to creativity. The artistic adventure kicks off on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Lakelands Library and Community Centre.
