Get ready for some creative fun with Adventures in Art, a workshop series designed for kids between the ages of 5 and 15 who are eager to unleash their inner Picassos—or at least get their hands a little messy. Local Mandurah legends Sarah Petrich and Candice Sawyer are here to guide the little ones through a magical journey of creativity, where they can flex their artistic muscles while engaging in imaginative antics.

So, what's on the agenda for Workshop 1? It's all about crafting a fabulous air-dry clay raindrop wall hanging that practically screams "winter vibes," thanks to its lovely shades of blue. Not only will this piece of art brighten up a wall, but it's likely to become the envy of all the other decorations in the house. The workshop is happening on Saturday, 17 May 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Lakelands Library and Community Centre. Just a heads-up: it'll cost you $7 per little artist, and if the kids suddenly discover they hate clay, the fee is non-refundable. So, be ready for a splash of creativity, and maybe a little laughter too.
